I don't think there's a financial fraud going on with these listings.

It's just a method of gathering large numbers of e-mail addresses to sell to the on-line purveyors of Viagra / other medicines / fake Rolexes etc.

Send a mail asking for more photos of the car and wait for the spam e-mails to flood in.

Out of pure nosiness, I clicked to ask a question and got an unusual screen up which invited me to click on one of four questions and it suggested it would send my name and phone number to the seller
