Fortunately not completely gone, a couple of our regular haunts still have a few, sometimes only 1 or 2, and as I'm an irregular regular they know that's the type of glass I prefer! Causes amusement when I explain that the dimples are for hand grip, not the handle, so if the handle breaks you don't loose your pint! My Dad used to call straight glasses "slippers", 'cos they could slip through your hand!
