I'm toying with the idea of buying full Leather interior for the merc with the door cards etc, but i have one question:

As my rear door windows aren't electric, would i be able to find and match rear door cards to suit manually operated windows? and if so, would it have to be the stealer? cuz if thats the case i'm going to get ripped off badly..

The rear door panels will have a whole in them for window winders , it just wont be cut into the outter cover . Why not instal rear electric windows , it would be very simple . Just use the early 124 switches , 5 pin in the front and 6 pin in the rear .

Looking at the link in the original thread the pictures of your car show it's already got leather seats. Do you just need the door panels or do you need a complete interior?

Mainly the door panels mate (hence the question about the door panels :D)

You could just put a hole in the door card for the window winders? Would be easy.

Otherwise install electric windows.

Set leather seats in the for sale section for a 202.

Yeah those are the ones i was talking about and they're gone. Oh well :(

If you want a set of door cards in mushroom leather I have some for a pre-facelift W202.

Andy, do u also have the seats? or just the cards? Do you have an email address i can contact? u cant send/receive pm's on here.

No. I've used the seats in my facelift, but found that pre-facelift door cards don't fit on facelift doors!!. I have a centre console with armrest in the same colour as your interior as well.

I find the fact that I can't pm or reply to ads in the for sale section very frustrating but "rules is rules".

Adam, you missed them what a bummer they looked fantastic.

I had cream leather on my last car looks really good, sod to keep clean though.

I thought they looked good too... but when i saw them in the flesh they were very worn which made me hesitate... and then shortly after he sold them i got a quote from a upholsterer to fix them all for £90... then i really regretted it :(.

Rear windows arent easy to put in but look alot better with a leather interior than manual winders. You will need to replace the comfort control module in the back to accommodate for 4 electric windows, you will only have the module for your 2 front windows.

I bought those seats for my old Benz coupe, the guy still has the rear door panels cos i left em with him, and i have the front ones, i only need to take the panel out that has the controls for the electric seats in it, the rest of the door panel is no good to me, if you can find a blank panel to fill the gap they'd be ok, panels are in nice condition.
