Thinking of selling the beast

So, I'm thinking of selling my C63 PP+ in Fire Opal with Black Leather, it's got every option inc carbon interior Harmon Kardon. 25k miles and I've also got just under 2 yrs tier 1 warranty remaining. Question I have is what to pitch it at? I'm thinking around £37k as the warranty alone is worth nearly £2.5. Thoughts appreciated.

Keep it. What on earth could you possibly replace it with. I'm on my 2nd fire opal PPP. Can't love it enough.

You'll need to price it against like for like cars, and factor in its a private sale. The warranty will help with saleability but not add to the cars value. A good guide to use, is the free valuation guide on the autotrader website.

In my book Red can always be a tricky colour to get rid of and I'm a fan of red on the right car but never bought a one for that reason. Depending on the year and what real value the pp offers over a non pp car as I'm new to the scene but I paid less than that for a 2014 plate with only 5700 on the clock from a main dealer, they gave it a service and an additional years warranty. Not sure of that helps you price yours but some food for thought.

I would have thought £33K is about where it should be for a private sale based on where things are at the moment.

Thanks, unfortunately I've got an itch to scratch and I've always wanted an Aston. If I could keep the C63 I would bit I'm not that lucky!

Not to put you off just depending on what you are getting I'd be very careful. My boss had no 08 plate n400 and it spent more time in back at the dealer albeit under warranty. Gearbox/clucth issues, roof issue even down to the dab stereo. He got fed up and traded it in against a 65 plate (not sure which model this time) he's had it 6 weeks and there is an issue with the exhaust. Again it'll be under warranty but it's put me off owning one

Good luck

Exactly what I'm looking for , but way too expensive

I understand your itch.

Not sure if you'd be better hiring one for a week???

:)

Yeah, I've thought about hiring one...Aston might give me a weekend test so that might do the trick. Complete quandary as every time I take the 63 out I love it...1st world problems!

Well if you do decide to sell and are open to offers then do let me know :thumb:

After selling my 507 and getting the new C63S, which I have subsequently sold, I am now looking at the w204 C63 again, point being they are great all round cars... Ideally I'd like another 507 but they are around 43k+ and I'm not sure I could bring myself to pay that as I sold mine for 42k.

Saying all that I still might buy something else :)
