It look interested and well maintained, but the 10k refurb? May be a respray? at 12k is very top money.

Friend of mine was looking at Jaguar S-Type on ebay, which had had "£3,000 spent on it recently" !
When he asked, it was for accident repair!!!!!

The mechanical overhaul wasn't that recent by the looks of things, dating back to 2007. Incredible to think just how much has gone wrong with that car, what's commonly known as a lemon....

There's an SL55AMG mentioned on PistonHeads where the service history with Mercedes shows it had 30 warranty repairs in 28K miles/4 years.
