That does look nice but unfortunately it's in Northern Ireland and it doesn't have the quad exhaust which I like...

Doh, didnt see its location.

Quad exhaust can be fitted for around £300 afterwards, I did it to my CLK270.

I'm in no major rush to be honest. Currently got a 59 plate Focus TDCi which is excellent to be fair plus if we get a harsh winter it maybe better suited to the roads. May leave this one and search again early next year...

Do these sound anything like the C63 AMG's?

Lots of comments about this car.. its mine! I'd have to disagree about the high price, but thats just me..

It is the cheapest facelift model by a mile on auto trader though.

I've recently had the front brake discs and pads replaced which cost £1000. In an attempt to fix the clicking sound (which didn't turn out to be the loose insulation) I have had the crankshaft pulley and tensioner replaced, all the belts at the front changed and some bushes done too.

It turns out it wasn't any of them, it appears to be the fan clicking from inside the dash which is a little annoying but none the less not mechanical.

It's still up for sale and I do honestly believe that the prices on these will rise in the future, its quite a rare thing!

I spent over £900 having the latest work done.. pulley, tensioner, belts, new dipstick oil seal, new bolts and gaskets for the front of the exhaust and another oil change.

I think its had three oil changes in 10k miles now. It's a lovely genuine car, only faults being the drivers heated seat not functioning and there being very slight rust on the rear arches. Oh and the little plastic clicking noise.. turn the Harman Kardon on and you don't here a thing!

Pre-facelift '55s never had Quad pipes (even coupes), only the very late ones did.

Those are a mod.

The tailpipes are definitely not a mod.. they came with all clk55 coupes that have the six piston front calipers.

04/54-mechanical only facelift and 55-06 exterior and mechanical facelift.

06-on was clk63.

The tailpipes are AMG stamped.
