Ok, I've been asked by a client to sell their 1991 W126 560 which has done a genuine 2,700 miles from new

Why such a low mileage?....well it was a special build by Hooper who turned it into a limo, so it has a slight stretch and its also bullet proof, with very thick laminated glass to stop 7.62 ammo as are the doors etc.

Imposing machine that's in blue black metallic and despite the weight of the thing it still goes like stink. Has been Serviced and Mot'd every year, despite just trundling back and forth to the MOT station every year.

Question is how much is it worth.....thoughts?

has it fsh and book pack etc? despite its low mileage it should still be serviced every year. think i recal seeing one for sale on autotrader not so long ago cant recal the price 29k seems to ring a bell.

One on auto trader now with 29k for £28450. It's not selling.

I'd say being realistic £25k

Well, I'd say it has a narrow potential market.

There's a Bulletproof 560 SEL that's been for sale in London for some time.

Autotrader Dubai maybe?

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay.

15k would be a good starting point to see if any interest and 20k as a reserve price.

Surely a specialist auction would reveal its true value?

It's a nice/rare/special car but as said a bit of a narrow market.

Just had a look at the one on Autotrader and its similar, but the one I've been asked to deal with has a smaller back window.

Can't understand why the people advertising the other one, don't read what they write,...apparently theirs comes with bullet proof widows!!

If it was standard car it would be fairly straightforward to value within reason. But since it's not it's anybodies guess. Specialist auction might be the way to go I'd reckon.

Donald Trump may be in the market for a few bulletproof limos just now , and he could afford it .
