Afternoon all, I'm going to be giving the E55 a big service as it's coming up 100k. I'm changing plugs and leads, all filters, valve cover gaskets/breathers, supercharger oil. Not sure whether I should change crank pos sensor as a preventive measure, or buy one to have it handy? My question is whilst having things apart should I clean the throttle body (in situ) not sure what product to use as some are carb and throttle bodycleaners, and some throttle bodyspecific, to be honest I'm a bit confused, also I've read that some people manually move the butterfly inside the body to clean, others get someone to press on accelerator to open, I'm not getting any probs at the mo but thought whilst I was in there It would be benifitial, but don't want to break something that isn't broken. Any advice welcome and appreciated.
