Thrust Arm?

I put my car into be serviced and asked them to trace the source of a banging noise which appeared to come from the back of the car. They say it is the FRONT thrust arms. I just jacked up the car and there is undue play in what appears to be the aforementioned arms bushes. I'm gonna change them myself and see if the banging stops (i doubt it). Does anyone know where i can get the bushes?
Thanks

ps. Anyone got any ideas about a banging from the rear on uneven ground at slow speeds?

It was actually the front arms that are the problem, and i have sourced them from German and Swedish for £41 + VAT and shipping each. I also found the source of the rear knocking, which the trained mercedes mechanics missed. The offside rear spring had actually snapped into two pieces right on the bottom coil!! At least i know what to fix now though.

Common problem on W202's! Mine went last year - I was told by the stealership that water accumulates in the small well at the lower end of the rear springs, and over a period of time corrodes and breaks off the bottom of the spring. Now I'm getting the same knocking on opposite side. Nice design MB  - hope they changed it on the W203!!

They didnt. Many people have had broken rear springs on W203s

Yep, sure looks like water can build up in there, i wonder if a small drainhole would prevent recurrance?
