Tilting mirror issue

I have an ML55 (W163 Facelift).

When I select reverse the mirror should tilt downwards to show the kerb. However, mine seems to have a mind of it's own as it tilts upwards instead. Does anyone know how to reset it or does it need to go on STAR?

You need to reset the "down" position memory. Its described in the manual and changes from vehicle to vehicle - and I can't remember how its done on the W163 ML !
