TMC Tuning Box Via MSL performance

Hi everyone,

Just recently joined the MB forum as I purchased a A45 AMG facelift.
Love the car, however looking to get intake and tuning box fitted.
Been speaking to MSL and they have offered AMS intake and tuning box from a
Company called TMC Motorsport.
Has anyone got any experience with set up, would love to get some feedback.
Other option is AMS intake and Rebellion tuning box.
Want to make sure I keep my car warranty friendly. Hence the decision for going for a tuning box.

Tuning boxes fade with time as the car learns adjustments. I had a box on mine for 9 months and it was fine but others have had learning issues. Get an ecu map and just have it returned to stock for servicing.

Are you a WhatsApp user? I have a small group of ex and current A45 users who know the system inside out. Only rules are: no arguing, no time wasters and contribute positively . 3 fastest A45s on that chat.

Hi Eddie,

Thanks for the reply mate. When you say they fade, do you mean the performance drops off? I would prefer a map, but hassle of traveling to and from a reputable tuner puts me off.
Then if something does go wrong then you have to recover it to and from said tuner.

I would steer away from any tuning box.

I went over all the way to Germany to a very reputable tuner just to get my map and made a road trip out of it and had an amazing time!
