TMS Kirkham (ex-124 Works)

Hi all, just wanted to say I had excellent service from Ian W. and the team at TMS, Kirkham. Ian sourced and replaced a gearbox for my W124 E320, which is running well, and did loads of other 'smaller' jobs including suspension wishbones, exhaust etc. Good service and a good price, can't say fairer than that.

On the drive back I noticed red fluid under the car when stopped at the services - I presumed it was transmission fluid. Luckily Ian was still at work (ca. 18:30), he waited until I returned then spotted that the coolant expansion tank had broke (it's the first time I've seen red coolant!). Anyway, he found a replacement and fitted it there and then, for no charge. TMS will be doing all the work on my W124 from now on.

Just to say that I left my car with Ian last week for a B service and a replacement sensor while I was on a business trip.

It's difficult to get excited about routine servicing but after a couple of months of living with a dodgy crank position sensor the journey home was amazing and the car feels better and stronger than ever!

i had reason to us Ian some months back as my car went into limp mode,took it to Ian,found two sensors faulty the cam shaft & mass air,he replaced both,good job,will use him again.
