AMG (proper) - leave it badged, loud and proud.
I know my mate Daveenty (E63) absolutely, definitely, categorically agrees with me, as his reply to this will confirm .
Which is exactly why there are no badges on my car.
The first thing I do when I get any car is to de-badge it. It's a personal thing but I prefer the clean lines and it makes it so much easier to clean and polish, especially on the front wings where it had all the individual badges to designate the engine spec. I do keep the manufacturers star on the boot lid as they don't seem to look right without this, but the rest are now in an envelope in the garage to go with the car when/if I get rid. Up to the next owner then to decide.
I'm not bothered what people think, it's done for aesthetics not to kid someone into thinking it's a different model. Those who know their cars know what it is anyway, those with little interest don't care.
just bought c63 PPP it was de badged but i asked mercedes to re badge it £180! I could not handle driving about in a de Badged car

Absolutely sick Simon
I de-badged the rear of my estate. I had actually always planned to de-badge it, but never got round to it, but then the chrome on the amg badge started to flake a bit so I removed it. I prefer it without the badges as it gives a cleaner look.
