Dont know if i should really start this thread or not, as i think the answer is NOT to be :(

But its 9:30 at night, AC pulley is shot and the car was looking forward to being on a Rolling Road in about 12 hours.

Manged to get a new pump today, so trying to get it in as we speak, just a small matter of having never done one before.

Any help and advice at this stage would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the support Tony, but like i said, its half 9, and the car looks like its just come out of an Aliens movie.

Good Lord!!
Best of luck with getting that back together for a rolling road tomorrow.

Not. Rolling road sessions can be booked anytime.

Thanks for the vote of confidence there Peter, but trying to book one with Jerry of Eurocharged is not something you can do just anytime.

Well, its nearly half 12 and the old pump is out. Might still happen.

Ok, half 3 now.

Old pump is out, new pump is in . . . . . . Now stuck on the coolant pipes as they now won't go back into place.

Time for that pizza me thinks .

Good luck, I hope you make it for the RR like you say Jerry is the man. However, if you turn up later in the day I am sure Acid and the team can shuffle your slot around so you get on the Dyno.

5 o'clock in the morning . . . . . and so this is what the world looks like at this time of the day!!!

But lines are starting to get blurred now, getting confused with coolant pipes and ABC pipes (a mistake that i would rather not make), cars starting to look abit like a car again . . . . . . and theres a parrot on my shoulder . . . . . or is there!!!

Sleep . . . . . need it.

Sleep....no more coffee!!!!
It will be worth it in the end.

I wasn't doubting your ability to do it, just doubting the reason to bust your balls all night to get your car ready for something that can be rescheduled. After all you'll be without sleep and the risk of missing something whilst reassembling it, and operating it afterwards, might be of consequence.

Case in point.

Half 10 . . . . . and i think iv figured out why these things cost in the region of £100,000 to buy from new.

The amount of nuts and bolts i have here is unbelievable . . . . . well over a hundred. I even said we should take pictures along the way but NOOO, some crank said he would remember all these.

Quite frankly, i dont know what looks worse, the car or me.

I'm guessing it's not finished :( Hopefully you're already showered and sleeping.
