Well guys been thinking shall I debadge or not?

Also if I keep the badges shall I leave them as they are or get Black ones all round?

Cheers

If you want to make it seem less than the top of the tree, super exclusive, uber cool, powerhouse of an AMG it actually is, de-badge it :dk:.

LOUD AND PROUD :thumb:.

My mate Dave will undoubtedly agree .

A quick story that cemented my opinion:

As a youngster, my older brother's pal came round will his new 5 series. My brother enquired why it had no badges.

Well, came the reply - it's only a 2 litre so I took them off.

That was it for me.

I went for de-badge on your poll.

People who know cars will know what it is anyway, and the other 95% won't care. :D

De-badge it , the exhaust / wheels / disc will give the game away to those that are curious enough to give it a second glance.

Thought about putting E220 CDI badges on the back and 2.2 Diesel along the side but thought that might cause too much trouble with the BiB.

Looks like they are staying put, I'll think of something else to modify :thumb:

Actually leave the badges on. You work hard for it. To hell with the haters we both know.

Previous owner took the badges off the wings on my car but I'm going to put them back on. If its just a 2.0tdi then debadge it but if its got an engine worth boasting about leave them on!

I don't see the point. You can remove the badges but you will have trouble hiding the flared arches and four bloody great tail pipes.

I had my C63 debadged, I thought it looked cleaner and I don't like badges on the front wings unless they are yellow with a horse.

You would be surprised how many people did not clock what it was despite the brakes and exhaust.

I thought the E63 actually comes in a 'business edition' which has 2 single exhausts and less body kit to look like a non-AMG car, so I guess it is popular or else they would not offer it.

I haven't seen reference to this - even when I've had my anorak on :D.

It's an intersting idea, though not for me - got any info?

It's a new one on me as well, though I can't see it working as most of the mods are there for a reason, wider front wings for example, as well as the rear diffuser, which accommodates the four tailpipes...
