To paint or not to paint......

    ..... that is the question.


    I have sourced two used front wings that will need painting and there are one or two other places where there are a couple of scabs, rear wheel arch, drivers door, under rear light, spoiler mount and a small dent in the roof.

    Is it worth having the car totally resprayed?

    More to the point, unless you have a friend in the trade, how deep are your pockets?

    I'm thinking it'd now be cheaper to purchase a pristine CLK for the same sort of money as a decent paint job.

    Light Blue but I quite like the deep maroon colour:rolleyes:

    It will cost a small fortune for a complete respray in another colour, not to mention the hit in the residuals.

    Ive had quotes of £1k to have my silver E220 CDI done, and thats just a quick blow over really and thats not at a top body shop!
