Hey guys..........it is true i have sold the SL...............to another forum member who may or may not want to be known so thats up to them..........
Its gone to a very good home though where i believe its going to be stripped and rebuilt to its former glory...............so in the mean time i have bought a BMW E36 Cabriolet to do me until something else comes along.........Its a nice car but has nothing on the SL................So i can not see myself having it too long to be honest..........Am as bad as my sis Gina....
I had a very good price for it and kept the registration plate too.... then on the BMW i cheekily placed the number plate off of that on ebay and that sold too....surprised as was told by web registrion sites was worth nothing....was just an R32 plate but went well....
So i hope to be back soon with another Mercedes but i really dont know what yet....maybe another SL........... one that does not need as much work....
