Hi Guy's & Guyess's,

Has anybody got one? and if so how do you delete the places that you have been to.

I.E. Type the name of the place you want to go too, go there, then remove it totally from the system/memory when you have returned home.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

You been somewhere you shouldn't have been? :D

NOOoooooo

Not quite it's just that the scroll section seems to be full of place's that i don't need any more and it's a pain to keep going through them.

That's my excuse and i'm sticking to it :)

Good question - I've not bothered to check.. Have you checked over at PocketGPS forums?

You can't actually DELETE recent addresses but you can select other places and the unwanted place will go to the bottom of the list.

Only deletion method is to delete the files using your PC.

Similar for TTG300

Edit: Paul, don't hate me but I just found a third example.

Hi Patrick,

How can you hate somebody who helps you

I have never used the pocketgps.co.uk/modules.php forum,I was looking on the pocketgps download site for the tomtom to see if there were any relevent information.(looking in the wrong place)

But thanks to you my little angel :D you have sorted my problem, all i have to do is look in here, as i am using Great Britain maps. Recent destinations are held in a file called Great-Britain-Map.cfg

Just delete the cfg file then copy it from the master copy i made when i installed all the info on my 256 sd card and job done :D

Cheers

Hi Mark,

It is the tomtom go classic and you can hold the address down for as long as you like and nothing happens only that it moves on to the next stage.

As you say "I think".

It may work on a PDA but it don't happen on the tomtom go classic.

Thank you for your help anyway
