You can use your tomtom charger to charge your BB in the car. Probably works with other mobiles with USB.....

You can use a Motorola V3 charger on a Blackberry, but you can't use a Blackberry charger on a V3...

you can use a Garmin charger (mains or car) and USB lead on a Blackberry and you can connect the Garmin to the PC using the Blackberry USB lead but you can't use the Blackberry's car charger on the Garmin - it just goes into "PC Mode"

weird huh?

you've just given us all an excuse to fiddle with gadgets :)

oh er missus!!

nokia have changed the charger plug size, I assume its new battery technology and a different voltage/charging requirements, its what toolmakers call in idiot pin to stop people putting things in places they shouldnt and making a mess, maybe it should be called a chastity pin??

No, I assume it is just that the new, smaller plug takes less space at the phone side. My E90 has the new small plug but I can use chargers with the big plug with an adapter cable, so the electrical specs must be compatible.

Going back to the first GSM phones or so, the charger was different and electrically not compatible.
