Motorhead at Manchester Gmex did it for me

KISS at Bingley Hall, Staffordshire in 1980. Very loud and also hot too with the flame display at the front of the stage. A guy on our street, Colin, took a load of us in a LWB Transit van (pretty sure he'd dropped a V8 in it) that had air horns on a pull chain. We took turns honking all the way there.

It was a tough decision to have a night off, but I was sure that the permanently punch drunk, drug crazed, expletive laden, wet brained entertainment just wouldn't be as good as listening to Ozzy...

Sunday 15th, Manchester Apollo watching 'The Pogues. Wednesday 18th, Manchester Arena / Phones 4U Arena... Black Sabbath. Where does that leave me then? Apart from the fact that my tinnitus is off on one again, as my daughter said (who was also at both shows!). Two fantastic shows though, worth every penny!
