The SLK's been with Tony Fowkes for a little TLC.
Top item on the fix list was the out-of-sight, out-of-mind split in the lower front bumper, which I've been forgetting to get sorted ever since it happened in October 2011. Then there was a nasty scratch in the passenger door, which was picked up while the car was parked in Hanover Square last year. And finally, I'd managed to plant a whole new row of paint chips in the trailing edge of the driver's door since last getting them touched up in 2010.
I also asked Andy to get the wheels refurbished while the car was with him (something else over which I've been procrastinating forever).
As you can see from the photos below, the results speak for themselves and dealing with Andy and co couldn't have been more straightforward. It was on the basis of a forum recommendation that I decided to entrust this work to Tony Fowkes, and I would now be happy to recommend them myself.
