How sad to see the demise of this great artist. I can rememeber watching my grans t.v. in the 50's and being fascinated for ages as he drew his pictures. I tried so hard to draw but never made it any further than a matchstick man.
I was surprised to read in his obituary that he was an Officer in the Gurka Rifles. Such an interesting life .

Good luck to him. Morph was my favourite and that iconic xylaphone intro takes me back.

My favourite story is how morph got his name. Apparently while going through rehearsals? there was a card at the back of the scene showing the working title of the piece. However the little claymation character was standing in front of it and blocked out some of it so it read

'MORE F_____ING ABOUT.'

So they used the first part. Morph.

Very sad, and for him to lose the use of his hands too must've been terrible.
