Saw this on my searches and sent the owner an email with regards 2007(57) Mercedes-Benz E-Class E220 CDI Executive Cars for Sale London London
Its a 2007(57) Mercedes-Benz E-Class E220 Cdi Executive at £8000 and 23000 miles on the clock. The owner replied to my mileage query with:
''I have the v5 document and full service history. No damages, nothing wrong, low mileage.. It is in very good condition , like new. At this moment I am located in Spain , with some business and I have left the car at a shipping company because I dont have the time to meet each person interesed to buy it. If you would like to buy it , I can arrange delivery to your location for free, also you will have 7 days full inspection period''. Maybe its just my spider senses overreacting but I live in wigan lancashire and the car is situated in wembley london so ive no chance of popping down 200+ miles just to check and be disappointed .

I wondered if anyone lives nearby who could possibly check it out for me as it does seem too good to be true.......??

I've seen something like this before on the Alfa forum - it was a scam! Trust your spidey-senses!

Which will start just after you deposit £8000 in my bank which you will never see again - a bit like the car!

There are quite a few of these ads come up. Autotrader was a favourite with the "i'm out of the country and can only be contacted by hotmail" type.

If it seems to good to be true then sadly, most times, it is.

It is 100% scam. Go anywhere near this car and you are mad. Sorry to be blunt, but I'd rather that than see someone get ripped off. He will ask for a deposit before you can see it.

A big thumbs up from me for that , my spidey senses were on overload. It would be great if someone could scam the scammers , like the cowboy trader tv programmes now that would be worth watching to see them squirm.

You could always send them an email suggesting that they donate the proceeds of the sale to the Nigerian oil ministers retirement fund.

The reply is almost word for word as the AutoTrader ads he/they used to run, obviously got banned from there & is now using Gumtree!!
