Hi,

I took the aux battery off. Without disconnecting the main one, and now even though I've put the aux back I've got nothing, no lights, no Cl nothing.

What have I done?

If you put the connectors on the right way then i doubt it'll be serious. Try disconnecting the main battery and aux and measure their voltage - are they as they should be?

Correct, nothing serious should happen if the aux battery is connected the right way. But no lights, no cluster is serious in my opinion. So could the battery have been connected the wrong way?

The AUX battery isolated with a relay when the car is in sleep, nothing should happen when installing the battery the wrong say, until ignition is switched on. Should have a look at the wiring, which big fuses blow if this was the case.
