Since the only vehicles rated above Mercedes are low volume specialist vehicles, it is proven beyond all possible doubt by this highly scientific survey that Mercedes owners are likely to offer the most significant (even if not the highest) population of effortlessly "sexy men".

Come on guys.... the new Ferraris are way more sexy but but don't get me wrong MB cars are fantastic and sexy cars too. It actually makes me wonder if the women surveyed really had any taste ie.. voting Ferrari at number 10!!!!

If a brand new Ferari was to pull up next to a brand new Merc at traffic lights then all eyes are going to be on the Ferrari - had similar experiences in our former CL600 (current shape) - the CL600 would turn heads but when it was next to the Ferrari ALL the women/others were looking at the Ferrari and not interested in the Merc. I saw a Ferrari down West End also parked next to an Aston Martin (new one) and it was the Ferrari again getting all the attention.

How many of you seriously think a Lotus is far more sexy than a Ferrari ?

- I was just telling of my experience in the CL (brand spanking new) with the Ferrari and observations with the other Ferrari and Aston Martin - I'm sure u can all make ur own minds about the reliabilty/results of the survey...

If he didnt nail every gearchange bang on - you would eat him for breakfast , and the Merc weighs twice as much and was undoubtably an auto too ?

Give me a big CL any day , you can use it every day, it doesn't require a second mortgage to have it serviced, 4 people can get in it without becoming disabled over a long journey ..... etc etc.

I agree with your comments but unfortuantely size, weight, and practiability is not taken in consideration/criteria when people or women (I'm not being sexist here...) judge a car on its looks and how "sexy" it is. In the Tesco survey Lotus even beat the MB (which is rediculous...). Before I settled down with my honey I have dated quite a few women - they would always judge a car on its looks regardless to its performance, quality. specification etc. The CL was superb but next to the Ferrari it just did not stand out or get that much attention from people as all of it was focused on the Ferrari as it appeared to be more "sexy".

P.S. It was an old man in the Ferrari as well and I was only 23 at the time...

He tried to stop me getting in front of him but I managed to sqeeze in before the traffic lights and he was not happy by out manoveruing him and did not let him overtake me until I pulled into petrol station for fuel...

This is just our opionion and does not really mean anything. Mrs Flash, and two of her "female" friends (who came over) had a look at Richard's link last night (thanks for the link Richard...) and were a little "surprised" by the results. They were just as surprised as me to see the Lotus beat MB and could not believe that the Ferrari came in at number 10 (had they voted then the Ferrari would have been in the top 2/3 - MB should have been number 3!!).

Would be interetsing to know how our female members and the guys' other halves would vote or their opinions
