May was a presenter on old old old Top Gear in the 90's .

Looking back - it does sometimes seem like everybody apart from Richard Hammond was on old old Top Gear.

I personally don't recall much of May on old old TG. He sort of disappeared in the undergrowth. I can see why the people in the BBC probably didn't really want him based on that early exposure.

I liked it, I don't miss Clarkson. I like LeBlanc's laid-back style and rory reid's enthusiasm. Could live without Chris Harris to be fair.

I thought Schmidt would be a good choice even to augment the original TG trio.

But last series? Maybe she wasn't used properly - but TBH I was disappointed. I think Harris is better. He can actually talk about cars if given a chance.

Just watched the new episode, thought it was quite good. Better for the lack of Evans, but I've never been a fan of his. I admire his car collection, but that doesn't make him less of a git.

I really didn't think it was much better than the last with chris evans. What a shame I think it s time to put to bed. The three presenters no chemistry.
