Not suprisingly, my Merc came 2nd hand with no Comand disk, no manuals and the toolkit with the spare wheel well and truly plundered. They did leave the wheelbrace, jack, air in the tyres and key for the locking wheelnuts however. I also have a collection of 6 Indian music CDs and CDRs that were stuck in the CD changer, if anyone wants them.
Ive replaced the Comand disk, and downloaded pdf manuals, which leaves the toolkit. Ive bought some spare fuses from the £ shop, put in a philips driver, some torx keys and a flathead screwdriver. Anything else essential? - Im in the AA, but will always have a stab at something minor I could fix myself.
My biggest concern is the towing eye. Do the AA carry these? Does one size fit all Mercs? If not, which do I need for a CL500, and where do I buy it?
