Hi! all,
Just getting to grips with my MB E350 Estate AMG Line Night Edition 2016 (S212). My current set up is 19 x 8.5J wheels on the front with 245/35/R19 tyres, I have the staggered set up with 19 x 9.5J wheels on the rear with 275/30/R19 tyres. I have purchased a set of AMG alloys for winter use, these are 18 x8.5J which are the only winter option as far as I can see for this car. MY question concerns fitting TPMS sensors to each wheel part no. A 000 905 00 30 as far as I can make out. Will the car re-learn that different sensors are now in use (provided they have been activated) or do they need a trip to the 'stealer' to be coded to the car. As an aside, would a cheap TPMS tool be able to activate them & match to the system(they are the 433Mhz ones).
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Willie.

I regularly swop mine over for winter/summer , never had to do anything to register the different wheels on the car. TPMS always detects a loss of 2-3 psi between changes.

As above I swop mine and after initial setup from new never done them again

I've got two sets also, never had to do anything, just swap them over and they read as normal after a few minutes driving.

Hi. I am also getting new TPMs. How did you get on and where did you get yours from? Thanks.

I bought mine through Amazon @ £44 for four. They did not need coded & were recognised within around 10mins of driving. I set tyres to the pressure I wanted & restarted TPMS

ok that’s great. Thanks for the very prompt reply.
