I've had a quick search through the forum for views and reviews of trackers/immobilisers but haven't found too much so sorry if this is a regular topic.
I am considering having a Ghost immobiliser fitted as I've just purchased a new car. My uncle had one fitted on his Audi RS3 which prevented thieves from taking the car earlier on this year. Asking around, a few people seem to think they play havoc with the electronics of certain cars??
Been told a Cat5/Cat6 trackers are the real deal but it my option once your cars gone, it's gone! I don't want to track it in a shipping container over seas and even if I did some how get it back in pristine condition, I'd likely sell it on sharpish.
Below is what I'm looking at ... Anyone have one fitted? If so what do you think?

Not too fussed whether one or the other lowers the insurance, it's more about preventing the car actually being stolen.
