Traffic in Comand

Has anyone experienced losing Traffic symbol in Sat Nav on Comand and hence getting no traffic problems and redirecting; suddenly stopped working quite a bit of the time; comes on randomly occasionally then goes again.

I am no expert,but it is possible to turn off the traffic news,if you delve into command the FM1 should have a tick besides traffic reports,I am sure a tech will give you a better answer,as you know the TMC comes through the FM radio,and so updates the satnav

I take it you're talking about the TomTom Live Traffic feature, rather than TMC?

If so, then I've found that mine (NTG4.7) occasionally shows no traffic info too. I suspect it occurs mainly when you're in a poor GSM signal area as it uses the GSM network to get its information.

Yes it is the Live Traffic; it used to be on almost always but now is more often off than on.
