trailer wiring

is anyone able to tell me how to wire a trailer plug to my ml270 does it have a wiring loom near the tow hitch area?

I am only guessing, but if you have an OEM tow hitch, you will probably have a 13pin continental socket not a 7 pin, you will need an adapter to convert.

thanks it doesnt have any hitch yet but is there a wiring loom already there when the car was built?

You dont say which year of ML you have but if you look on the westphalia site you will get some details. First locate the tow bar you want then look for the installation instructions/wiring details. Site is not easy to navigate but theres a lot of info there. Westphalia are OEM for AUDI and MERC I think?
