We test drove a 2007 A160 CDi CVT yesterday and we both thought it was the ideal car but... I also took my bluetooth ODB reader and saw the following codes;
One was about an open circuit on the 02 sensor (I can't recall the exact code), I've asked the dealer to look into it.
The other was "P1634 transmission limp home due to under voltage".
The test drive lasted about 30 minutes and the only problem we saw was vibration at 80 mph which suggested some sort of wheel balance issue, which again the dealer said he will sort.
I've phoned Mercedes Southampton who confirmed that they've only seen the car for the last two sevices/MOTs, and for a central locking issue which they fixed.
What do we do? Does anyone know more about the code? Could it be be as simple as someone trying to drive it around the used car place with a flat battery?
I'd love to hear more about the 02 sensor too. Is it a common problem or easy fix?
Thanks
Richard
