Transfer bookmarks from firefox to I.E

Hi Guys
Realy fed up with b----y Firefox it did an upgrade yesterday and when it re-booted all my bookmarks had gone.
I always make a couple of backup HDD's so I have put one in and now I want to transfer all my bookmarks from Firefox to I.E so I can get shot of Firefox for good because it is not the first time I have had a problem after they have done an up-grade.
I am sure I did it with a floppy once but can't remember how (tried it but no luck),I have googled but some of there advise is crazy look for this file and change that file etc. because I know there is a quick way but for the life of me I can't remember.

Also since the upgrade when I go on to the net to do some shopping I get a pop-up in the right hand bottom corner all the time ( caused by a toolbar they put in)

I don't want to put them back in firefox I had a look at that and just not interested in using Firefox.
As I said I have put my back-up hard drive in with all my bookmarks in firefox because the up-grade has not been done on that disc so they are still all there (of which I have a lot) and I just want to transfer them all into I.E.

Brilliant mate I missed that one on the net that was the second fix you put in after I answered your first post without that one in.

I knew there had to be a quick way now I can get shot of Firefox for good.
