TRAX 2013 Silverstone Sunday 8th Sept

:bannana:30 minutes till i leave my front door cya soon people:bannana:

What A Great Day!

Thanks Alps, for another well organised club stand today :thumb:.

Lots of very impressive cars, and great weather until early afternoon, by which time we'd seen most of what there was to see.

As usual it was great to put names to faces of people from here that I'd not met in person before.

I had a bit of a moan about the lack of 0-60 run to a TRAX person, and he said there had been lots of similar comments - hopefully Silverstone (who stopped it) will listen.

The usual recipe of useful merchandise and fairly grotty show girls made the walkabouts interesting.

I did hear that a member left their front MBClubUK showplate on, for 50 of their 60 mile return journey, but I find it hard to believe that there's someone so stupid . Lots of free club advertising Vin :thumb:.

I bet there's no photographic evidence to support the claim though .

Anyway - thanks guys, until the next time.

Sitting in the queue 3 miles to go, lovely :-(

That was a cheeky bit of manouvreage we all ended up doing though wasn't it...

:bannana:

Thanks to Alps from me also for going through the hassle of organising it - much appreciated. It was a good spot and a great day. I'd had enough of the rain after an hour and a half after it started but still enjoyed the day.

Nice to meet all the other folks I've not met before - as well as catching up with those I have. Thanks to donshl for demonstrating Kleemann headers. That's the sound I've been waiting for - even if it was interlaced with V10 R8 noise!

I came over to say hello John but you suddenly got loads of requests for pictures of your car so I thought I'd not cramp your style!

Simon, I meant to say - just get a better sub installed instead of the one you have (although I'd take advice on whether that location, or another is better e.g. under front seats). I remember how easy it used to be to get bass into the car with hot hatches - so yours will be much the same - and it won't cost you a fortune either as you don't want to be deafened.

Has your camera battery run down?;)

Great to meet you all today and a big thanks to all the hard work put in by the organisers to make these meets a success.

..and thanks to John for the ride in his E63

Great day...even the rain could not dampen the MBClub spirit...apologies for not many pics but was too busy buying up discount detailing products...;)

As always great to meet you guys again, always a pleasure to be representing the north of England at these events lol

Big thanks to Alps for taking time out to set this up...star man:thumb:

Thanks everyone for a good day .
Cheers alps for sorting it out for us.
Sorry I didn't come back to say goodbye but my other half couldn't walk back as the baby was pushing down on her nerve .
We got in the car and soon as we started the engine it started raining haha. So good timing for us :)

Had a great day yesterday guys (despite the rain), the drive up was fantastic and was a great opportunity to meet some of the member whom I don't get to see regularly!

Thanks Alps for sorting this out again!

Thamks Alps for organising what was a great day out will have to do it all over again next year. Good to meet some of you and have to say what a great group of people you are.

Alps, many, many thanks for organising it all. As usual a great day, met lots of very nice people and putting faces to names is always good.

What a great effort everyone made in showing there cars off.

Rash I hope it was not to much of a drama getting your car clean when you got home. Those new wheels of yours absolutely stunning.

Thanks again,

Alps, great day and great people and when the rain came down Rash and I watched the Grand Prix in my car, at last a use for it!!!:bannana:

Anyway, here's how Rash's car handles in the wet...
