TRAX 2013 Silverstone Sunday 8th Sept

Just to voice the same as everyone else, firstly a huge thanks to Alps for a great set up and space provided for us all to park. It was great to see you buddy and a great effort, thank you.

As for everyone else, it was great to catch up with some old and new faces and thought the effort everyone put in with regards to their pride and joys was very commendable. Great day with some great people and thank you all.

Hey guys :thumb:

Big thanks to Alps for organising the day :thumb:

We had a most enjoyable trip there ;)

Really great day.

Great to see us all together again

Forgive the lack of content in this post... I am extremely tired... I was faced with the most monumental clean up mission when I got home :doh:

Spent the whole day on it today and hope to finish tomorrow.

You cleaned your car last night, all day today and more tomorrow

Surely not mate

Great pics Guys, looks like I missed a great day out. Did anyone do any of the 0-60 runs?

Jules.

Thanks for arranging a great day Alps. It was a good turn out with some truly lovely cars:thumb:

Well worth the early start and meeting up, the drive up was a bit of an aural delight especially when Don (donshl) floored his CLS55 in front of me on the M1, sounded bloody great:D

Good to see everyone again and to meet some of you other guys that otherwise I only know as forum names. Look forward to meeting you all again.

Picked up plenty of cleaning tips from Paul, Don, Steve, David, Mark, John and of course Rash as I stood by and watched them all work hard while I did sod all! I even got Paul cleaning my rear bumper:D So no excuses for me in the future (although believe me there will be!!!).

Shame the weather turned and ended things a bit earlier for us. Drive home on my own was nowhere near as interesting.

Hi Jules,

There was no 0-60 runs, apparently its been stopped for some reason...

........And the semi naked ladies draped over Alps car? Were these stopped also, as have seen no evidence in the pics so far....:D has he lost his mojo :dk: :D ?

Jules.

lol, im afraid it was too wet and too cold for semi naked ladies this year mate... next year ;)

0-60`s were not allowed this year by silverstone for some reason, this was usually one of the highlights of TRAX and they have always been there.

I will be writing to TRAX oraganisers to get this back on for next year

Lol, actually I've just finished!

Wheels off, cleaned springs, shocks, wheel arch liners, calipers, hubs, cleaned wheels and put them back on.
Cleaned body, exhaust system, underneath of car, rubbers and plastics. Just cleaned and treated engine bay.
Proper knackered but I think it's good enough now.

Bloody hell rash you are one crazy dude! I need to take some tips from you for cleaning my car! Lol

Hi guys, just wanted to say thanks for letting me join you on your stand, had a great time and was nice to see a few familiar faces and a lot of new ones.
Think I've fallen in love with the blue R8 V10, can't remember the owners name but spoke to you a few times.
Thanks again guys

Ross (black impreza - jap crap)

PS, Rash, your wheels look lovely but I don't think much of your disks!
