Trim round cupholder w205

Hi,

I have just purchased a C220 W205 (15 REG) and have noticed that there were 2 small chips in the silver trim round the cup holder enclosure, the dealer has said it cant be replaced as it will mean a complete new centre console but I am not convinced as the trim flexes slightly, so I am under the impression its a clip in part. I am waiting on the dealer coming back to me but I don't have 100% confidence that they will look into it thoroughly as they have agreed if its a separate part they will order in and replace FOC.

Is there anyway I can find out directly or has anyone have any experience of this - the part I am referring to is the square silver trim round the enclosure in this picture - Good Inner Water CUP Holder Cover Trim FOR Mercedes Benz C Class W205 2014 2015 | eBay

I agree with you, it's a pity you didn't notice it before you bought the car. Contact the General Manager at the Dealership rather that waste your time with the Salesman.
