Hi guys,
So we have taken the turbos out for refurbishment at turbodevelopment in brentford,who were really helpful,and they will recondition both turbos for £400, which i thought was a good price if compared to turbo technics.
According to the guy at TD, the turbos definitely need replacing as you can see from pictures as well,they were leaking oil. He also mentioned the leak could of been caused by the engine,if its knackered, didn't really get it.
According to my mechanic, theres 2 things wrong, the turbos definitely went...and, from the last picture,them 2 pipes, the water pipes to the turbos (water cooled turbo), were clogged,cracked and rusty and definitely need changing.
Anyone know where I could source them from? with the correct Bolt? Can i get them made somewhere? please recommend places if you know of any, in the meantime, here's how a TT engine looks like without the turbos!
and lastly,i dont know what these pipes are called( help me if you know please), they are at the bottom,and supply water to turbos! which mine weren't before,and thats why my turbos were over heating and burning more oil.
