Which temperature reading? Can you get live data on the temperature reading ?
The temperature sensor in picture 1Which temperature reading?
What should be the next action?Looks like the set point is 224 degrees . Yours is saying 352. And most likely put the car into limp mode. Hence why the actuator isn't moving.
Should i take to Indie?Try unplugging it, it should show constant (I cant recall for sure, SDS will tell, but I would say -40C)
They didn't check anything in detail, just a diagnostic.Umm.. did they test actuator? Did they check temperature sensor readings and DPF dp sensor and check DPF parameters?
In theory all those faults can be related, and thats bold statement to say 'it's turbo'... and in addition if you have an injector which p*ss too much fuel to cylinder, you *might* get something like that behavior... TRUE that actuator is quite common fault, but I am concerned about those temperatures (if they are real).
Fault codes alone are not '10 Commandments' even read by SDS, each of those codes would give guided test procedure, and most of those components have individual test.
IF it is turbo actuator, go to some diesel/turbo expert and get actuator only. If that garage has proper equipments, they can test it on bench. On same time they can test you injectors too, if needed.
I have ordered sensor from merc, will get Thursday morning. They didn't check anything in detail, just a diagnostic.
Reading on DPF was 210%They didn't check anything in detail, just a diagnostic.

Its so confusing. To be honest. It was a DELANY MOTORS, STOCKPORT. they are an independent Mercedes service. But did do any investigation . Just digonistic. Charged £60Have that fitted , clear fault codes. Check it again with live data.... even a gearbox fault will engage safe mode and stop the actuator arm moving.... what then ? Fit a new turbo.... clueless......
