Hi All,
I need to change turbo actuator for my W211.

Which one should I get?
Genuine refurbishe price is £120 from turbovanes + need to send older one back,

Or Chinese brand new £50.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

I'm surprised no one with experience of this hasn't offered advice - or maybe not...
My view on Chinese made kit is roughly that they do metal well enough but aren't so good with elastomers. So anything with rubber gators, seals etc isn't going to be as good as the original western manufactured item. That kinda points to the re-man as preferable but what we don't know is if the elastomer parts (I'm assuming it has such) aren't sourced from China.
On the face of it then the re-man part looks the safer bet. But if fitting is easy and cheap I'd be tempted to try the Chinese version - but only if it failing doesn't incur cost beyond the saving.

No brainer - if not keeping the car for years chinese, if you are - genuine.

There's a third option:

Brand new from a well known Tier-1 OEM manufacturer.

That would be my choice (if brand new genuine MB was unaffordable).

Mercedes were only supplying actuators with new Turbochargers unless that policy has changed?

I had a refurbished unit from Turbovanes. It arrived quickly and gave no problems so I would suggest using them.

Cheap copies will be inferior.

I replaced mine of ebay with matching part number in year one of ownership…
I owned car for 3yrs & drove it hard & fast…
No issues whatsoever…
Just my experience…
