Turbo actuator,

HI does anyone know if I remove my turbo actuator on w211 320 cdi will engine still run "although in limp mode"

There will be nothing to hold the vnt vanes in place causing over/under boost and worst case they will hit the compressor fins.

I'm not getting any boost at moment as actuator is faulty and needs removing and sorting out but didn't know if I could use the car whilst the actuator had been removed
