Turbo Reconditioning - Best Place?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good turbo specialist who'll recondition an OM642 turbo?

I have a W211 E320 CDI, the engine had gone into limp mode and was reporting a fault with the inlet shutoff motor. Before the fault it used to smoked heavily, after a long idle, and I noticed the end of one of the turbo vanes had broken off.

I plan to change the shutoff motor and clean the EGR in addition to sorting the turbo - it'd also be helpful if anyone can suggest other potential problems I should look at, now I've pulled the turbo off - e.g. change the oil cooler seal?

If the housings are ok you can buy a replacement core from london turbo's, easy diy job.

Turbo dynamics have just refurb'd my turbo housings, and I got a new core from turbo rebuild (who, as the name suggests, can rebuild as well as sell parts)

Both great, would go with turbo rebuild for everything if I could have done.
