Hi all,

Me again, I have the 4.3 aspect ratio display with the seperate number pad, it has the TV button on it, every time I press the button is says "No TV".

There is this space next to the CD multichanger in the boot, wondering if I should have a box in there for the TV as it looks like something is missing?

That might help explain why the TV does not work?

Thanks
Alan

TV was an option and not one many took.

You could retro-fit but it's very expensive!

Hi whitenemesis,

thanks for the reply, I just thought that as TV was actually stamped on the button that it would have been ordered with the car, or it would have been left blank as a spare button had that option not been taken.

As regards to retro fitting something, I'd have to put it on the back burner as a project for a later date.

Thanks
Alan

If the button was not stamped with the TV text, you would hate MB later on when you start taking care of the retrofit, wouldn't you?

It is the same with the phone control buttons at the steering wheel, have to admit that this creates a lot of confusion when owners assume the car should have HF support when it has phone buttons at the steering wheel and the head unit.

Ah, that makes sense now :)

Not to bothered that I can't watch TV, seeing as it doesn't work while driving anyway.

Might look into hooking a DVD player to it at a later stage.

Thanks all.
Alan
