If I were to do it, I'd use the M104 3.2L with the HFM.
Not as "fragile' as the thin wall 3.6.
You don't need the cam or the rpm if you're going to boost.
Low RPM torque is want you want to attain, not high RPM HP
Same concept as why modern oil burners accelerate so quickly.

TurboTechnics nailed it with the additional injectors for enrichment.
Fire with an inexpensive stand alone AIC and no fiddling with fuel and spark MAPS on something like a EFI / MS system.

BHP reporting can be all over the place and depends on what type of dyno you use.
The power number should only be used for comparision to a baseline pull.

Can you get 500BHP, again depends on the dyno and the settings...

I have a "humble" M103-12V with stock internals and a slightly modified TurboTechnics kit...puts out about 360bhp and 390torque at .5 bar boost.
Output is extrapolated from load dyno RWP numbers. Probably add 20% more if I used an inertia dyno for the pulls.

Pushing the envelope like a few cars that took years of breaking before running correctly is really not necessary.
5 second 0-60's and low 13's with 105-110 traps ain't too shabby !!!

450HP at 10psi.

I'd say go for it, but a lot of custom work involved!

500hp and you'll kill the box from a cossie.

Only safe to 400bhp, I understand. But can be up rated to handle 600bhp according to those in the know it seems. Mind, that's all hearsay but from a good source.

Hi

Its a hell of a project mate

have you considered what Ecu you are going to use?

I agree with some of the other members comments and I would use a 3l or 3.2 lum
p instead of the 3.6 but bottom line is, you want to do it to a 3.6.

you are going to need a lot of control with the ECU if you want to reach those kind of HP figures and have some reliability.

extra injectors or large cc injectors are a most

oh! and a decent intercooler placed somewhere where it actually gets some cooling.

Check LINK ecu's

all the best
