Type for SL280 1989

My father in law has been badgering for me to look for a Hard Top lift for his recently purchased SL300 - I believe it is the last of the old shape at 1989.

Could anyone confirm that it is a W107 as I have seen a likely suspect on Fleebay.

You are probably right, check the first digits of the VIN number to make sure.
