Hi

I must have been a little bit liberal with the turtle wax tyre dressing cream last time and used the car before it fully dried:doh:

I have a few splash marks under the driver and passenger doors

A good clean and T cut hasn't touched it:wallbash:

Not end of the world, but any suggestions appreciated please

The usual advice given for "things stuck to bodywork" are babywipes, WD40 and Autoglym Tar Remover.

I've you've already tried those things then it might be time to worry! ;)

try autoglym tar remover as shude said, good stuff. Just dont use a brilo pad as my mate did to get sticker glue off his paint work!

 haha, yes it did actually your right!

Methylated spirit is great for getting sticky stuff off bodywork and its cheap to buy from your local diy store. :)

Lighter fluid is also very good at getting tar etc off bodywork.

Dry Cleaning Fluid (Perkolene)

When it stops raining I will give a number of those a go - though I might skip the brillo pad.....

Clay it as well.

white spirit always seems to get these marks off no problem
