If you get the right tyer slick as they are good and bad ones and put it on properly you will not have any problem with it no slippery mats or residueI would not use a tyre dressing on mats. It makes them slippy to the extent they are dangerous. Possibly ok on passengers footwell, but not on drivers side. Wonder how I discovered thatTook me ages cleaning it off to a stage where the surface was acceptable. Now I just use soapy water, they are clean but not refreshed. Use as consumables & replace when they get too bad.
