My tyre pressure display (2016 w205) has the pressure in kPa. Now I am a bit old for these new fangled units and can just about deal with Bar. I looked for a way to change the units from kPa to either Bar of even better, psi.
Could not find a way to do that. Has anyone found a way?

I haven‘t found a way of changing the units.

100 kPa = 1 Bar
245 kPa = 2.45 Bar

All you have to do to convert to BAR is move the decimal point two places to the left. ie 220kp is 2.2 BAR

Thanks guys, I knew that but it would be nice to see it, or psi, on the display. Can't believe that it is not possible. Who uses kPa in real life?

The rest of the world.

KPa is the scientifically correct unit of pressure the world over - for men in white coats.

The real world uses Bars and as they are really the same units shifted a few decimal places I would argue that KPa is a stupid choice for tyre pressures and the manufacturers should be ashamed of being so "correct" when they know it will confuse car owners.

I recently had my 2019 S205 serviced and before the service I had the display showing PSI after the service it shows KPa.
I asked the MB garage to change it back, and they said that you can't change these units and it can only show the pressure in KPa's (wtf?).
I tried changing other units like kph, mph, even time zones, languages and date/time formats to see if it affects the tire pressure units, to no avail.
I also tried engineering menu, but there is no option to change it.

I'd love to change it back, so if anyone can help, please help.
