I've read that I can activate this on my instrument cluster.

But when I went into my local specialist today, he said I couldn't do it on my car.

Can someone help me, do I have this on the car or not?? (57 w203)

You can activate Tyre Pressure Loss Warning. This is a software/firmware based system that detects (via ABS) if a tyre is loosing pressure from it's rolling circumference. The cluster display goes red and warns of pressure loss.

You need a very knowledgeable STAR operator as it is not an obvious coding process.

I have had this done on my 2005 S203 by COMAND.co.uk

This is not the same as Tyre Pressure Monitor which requires pressure sensors in each wheel. This displays the actual tyre pressures in the cluster.

Thanks, I'll have to go down to see Alfie at some point.. It's just a hell of a long drive!
