Tyre pressure warning

Greetings,

I drive a 2005 C55 AMG.

I recently had my wheels refurbished and am still hugely impressed with the standard of the wheels. However, i have now got a tyre pressure alarm on the dash. I have checked the pressure and they are all around 30, which is normally what i run them at (back when there wasn't an alarm).

I am wondering if a sensor was damaged during the process.

Would a faulty sensor show as a low pressure? Or is the car good enough to detect a faulty sensor and alarm differently?

You run your pressure quite low. I used to run 32 f & 35 r. Did not like the feel of the car at all if the tyre pressures dropped to even 2 psi. Possibly could be the sensor?

I'll take it up a bit an see what happens. It would seem that the sensors respond to even a small departure from the normal pressures.

Ok, sorted. Apparently I need to reset my pressure monitoring system every time the wheels are changed. So just had to go into one of the 300 menus and find the right buttons to reset it. Thanks for help.
