Tyre whine w210

Morning. Has anyone had a bad tyre whine in a w210 ? I have a whine which seems to come from the wheels (probably front) after 60kph and rises as you get faster. My tyres are about half worn at the moment. It is not the engine - it continues even when the gears are disengaged. Could it be bearings or is my diagnosis about tyres correct?

Whine is usually a diff noise, are the tyres wearing even?

Front bearings are adjustable on these easy to check and do.
